‘Keep calm and carry on’, is a message that was posted all over Britain during World War 2.
Is this statement is as appropriate now as ever? Can you make it work for you in your day to day life?
Think about it: Keep Calm and Carry On….
Personally, I feel the phrase has a wonderful and strange relevance to the Western world’s situation now, and is a nice juxtaposition to the scare tactics and fear mongering we tend to see and hear everywhere.
These are straighforward, simple, but meaningful words – whether you apply them on a national and/ or worldly level as they were originally meant or on a basic personal level.
Do you feel that your world is falling apart and you are being attacked by ‘nasty’ bombs from all directions? Is your project being hit by every problem known – and then some?? Is your day falling apart with a hundred-thousand interruptions and you are pulling your hair out?
Be a little like the Brits of last century! Take a little (or a big) break, make yourself a cuppa tea, take a deep breath (or ten) to calm your racing heart and then carry on… I believe you will see that light at the end of the tunnel get bigger, a little quicker, as you forge ahead towards it.

P.S. I made several posters of this saying and put them up in several strategic places in my office – I even put one in the bathroom and the break room.
