Subliminal Ads

Subliminal ads are pesky little things.

They show up and in an instant they are gone again. Unless your computer is on a go-slow, doing some very heavy processing, your conscious won’t know it has seen a subliminal ad.

But your subconscious mind will know. It will have seen the ad loud and clear.

Of course, a subliminal ad isn’t legally allowed to be shown without warning. So are you safe?

Well, yes and no. You wouldn’t find a reputable company like Google using subliminal ads (although I don’t know whether their YouTube subsidiary has tools to spot them). But what about less than reputable companies, maybe operating outside the USA? How can you be sure they aren’t sending subliminal ads to you without your knowledge?

If someone else has spotted the intrusion then using a spyware program will likely give you some protection. These software programs work out which programs your computer is running that it shouldn’t be. Unknown programs are one place where subliminal ads could be hiding.

Or you could take a more positive turn of mind and download a software program that sends subliminal messages to your computer screen. Messages that you choose, so although they’re like an advert they’re “better” than that. These are an easy way to reprogram your subconscious mind without any effort on your part once you’ve installed the original software.

Maybe rather than worrying about subliminal ads invading your computer, you’d be better off turning your focus onto the ways that subliminals can help you instead.
